While there are now more SUVs than ever, some are really the cream of the crop, including several brand-new models from Volvo. The 2020 Volvo XC60, in particular, is creating a stir with car buyers.

Power and Performance

The base trim of the 2020 Volvo XC60 is the T5, and it comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 250 horsepower. For more power, you can move up to the T6; its turbo- and supercharged engines can give you 316 horsepower. For even more, you can opt for the T8. This plug-in hybrid version of the 2020 Volvo XC60 can generate 400 horsepower. Whichever you go with, the new Volvo XC60 offers great handling, and its excellent suspension system makes every ride as smooth as glass.

Comfort and Space

There’s a lot of room inside the 2020 Volvo XC60, and five people can fit comfortably inside this vehicle. Leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats are standard, and you can also get heated front and rear seats, and massaging front seats. The 2020 Volvo XC60 has one of the biggest cargo areas in its class. Behind the back seats, there is 22.4 cubic feet of space, and that goes up to 63.3 with them folded. There are also small storage areas under the back seats, as well as a big under-floor storage bin in the cargo hold.

Tech and Safety

Thanks to all of the tech features in the Volvo XC60, even those long Indianapolis traffic jams won’t seem so bad. Satellite radio, Bluetooth®, Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay™, and the Sensus® infotainment system with a 9-inch touchscreen are all standard. You can also get navigation, proximity keyless entry, and a 14-speaker audio system. The 2020 Volvo XC60 comes with an assortment of standard safety features, such as oncoming lane mitigation, traffic sign recognition, and driver drowsiness monitoring. It also comes with a system that scans roads for pedestrians, bike riders, and animals.
