Volvo's All-New XC90 Will be the World's Newest Clean and Powerful SUV

Volvo's all-new XC90 will offer an unrivaled combination of power and clean operation when it is launched later this year. The all-wheel drive seven-seater offers drivers up to 400 horsepower but with carbon dioxide emissions of around 60 g/km. There has never been an SUV offering this level of power this cleanly.

Volvo Experiments with Pure Tension Pavilion for V60 Plug-In Hybrid

After introducing the V60 plug-in hybrid in Italy, Volvo is proud to share the ‘Pure Tension Pavilion.’ The pavilion – a spectacular free-standing tensioned membrane structure – is a rapidly deployable and portable solar charging station for the world-first diesel plug-in hybrid. It is the winning project resulting from a competition for architects and designers held in May and commissioned by Volvo Car Italia. The Pure Tension charging station together with the V60 plug-in hybrid will now be part of a road-show through Italy’s biggest cities.
