The 2016 Volvo V60 is a luxury wagon that is available in four different trims: T5 Drive-E, T5 Drive-E Platinum, T6 R-Design AWD, and T6 R-Design AWD Platinum. Both T5 Drive-E models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 240 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. T6 R-Design AWD models, on the other hand, feature a more powerful turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that’s good for a very impressive 325 hp and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard with this engine, as is, of course, all-wheel drive.
As you’d expect from Volvo, we’re proud to say that the 2016 Volvo V60 is an incredibly safe vehicle. It earned the top score of “Good” in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s moderate-overlap and small-overlap frontal-offset impact tests, as well as their side-impact, whiplash protection, and roof strength tests.
