The minute one of our Indianapolis, IN Volvo customers brings a child into the world, one of the first conversations that occurs is what sort of changes the new baby might mean in terms of the family automobile. Once kids are involved there are several new things that bear consideration during the car buying process. What are the safety features? How will a car seat fit? Is there ample storage for all the accoutrements of babies to make the trip to Grandma's house for the weekend?

Of course, it gets even more challenging with two and especially three children, as that third child takes away some automotive options simply by virtue of there not being enough interior space in most sedans to accommodate that many kids comfortably (or without backseat fighting). Thankfully, CNET recently issued a list of what they believe are the five best cars for drivers with three children, and here at Tom Wood Volvo we were very pleased to see that the 2016 Volvo XC90 was among those mentioned on the list.

According to CNET, the 2016 Volvo XC90 impresses because of its "Handsome design, trick cabin technology, and available seating for seven passengers that will handle most hauling needs." Furthermore, the second-generation version of this SUV also gets the new Sensus Connect infotainment system, includes several surprising and utilitarian features, and of course offers plenty of that Swedish style that always has made Volvo cars so lovely.

If you're interested in test driving this vehicle to see how it may work for your family, come pay us a visit sometime soon and one of our sales associates will happily get you behind the wheel of one of the top autos for families with three children.
