One of the most frustrating things a vehicle owner can encounter is not knowing what fluid is leaking underneath their vehicle, but we can help. Leaks can be water, fuel, brake fluid, antifreeze, or other fluids. Here are some tips that will help you figure out which fluid is leaking out of your vehicle.
Coolant leaks are very common. If you see a puddle under your vehicle that's green or orange, it's probably antifreeze or coolant. Have the leak fixed right away because antifreeze is deadly to humans and animals. Brake fluid leaks look oily and yellow. If you think your car is leaking brake fluid, have it towed to be safe.
A little water under your vehicle is usually because of condensation from your air conditioning system. If you notice an abnormal about of water coming from your vehicle, it's best to have your cooling system inspected by a mechanic.
